Pakistanis had an awfully unique experience in 75 years history of the Country, on October 21, 2023, when a criminal and absconder Nawaz Sharif received a protocol of a prime minister and addressed the nation at ‘Minar-i-Pakistan’ the monument symbolising the solidarity of Pakistan. He didn’t surrender in front any court of law or police but the state machinery capitulated portraying the dissolution of the system of the country. 

This un-constitutional system verifies that it cannot deliver without corruption, hypocrisy, corrupt elements and conflicting the interests of certain authoritative stratums. Unfortunately, here and now democracy is being defined merely as the fruition of hegemonic classes’ objectives.

In these circumstances, all four pillars of the state seem to relish miseries and agonies of the people for their own resolutions. Regrettably, JUSTICE is JUST-ICE and media (print and electronic) is for sale as they are not with RIGHT but only with POWERFUL. Media only highlighted the arrival of Nawaz Sharif as his victory over the system of Pakistan.

 No doubt, native media is playing a role of a procurer, selling the rights and hopes of the public to the powerful clutches for their compulsions.  In fact, the powerful stratums consider themselves super natural and superior than common citizens.

Since 1947, these ruling classes have been intentionally pushing the common people towards poverty, illiteracy, religious orthodoxy and lack of self-reliance to contain them in a specific cycle of life with limited rationales. Actually, this is a game plan to gain power and domination to rule over the power corridors. Since 1947, evidently, a typical class and certain institutions are ruling over the Country on the name of so-called democracy.

Recently, we can observe a slight but pleasant change in the minds and thinking of Pakistanis. On October 21, particularly Lahoris practised and supported a confident and positive transformation. In fact, they disallowed the status quo as people articulated their displeasure with the obsolete system in force for 75 years. After April 10, 2022 for the first-time, media, establishment and state machinery with their joint venture could not eliminate this current social and political transformation in public.

 The whole credit does not go to Imran khan but also to that anarchic process of no-confidence motion giving awareness through unveiling the corrupt practices of discriminating political process and misapplication of the constitution in Pakistani corrupt political system.

The reception given to a criminal is un-exemplary and can trigger and fan the hatred against the system and authoritative classes. The retaliation against this corrupt system can lead the nation towards true democracy and pave it on the path of prosperous Pakistan.

The abolition of intolerable status quo particularly the role of the establishment needs to be redefined making the people of Pakistan solely the true source of power under the sovereignty of God.
