Pakistan’s General Election 2024
There are 5 thousand 121 candidates in the field for the 266 general seats of the National Assembly for the general elections of Pakistan 2024, including 4 thousand 807 male candidates and 312 female candidates, while 2 eunuchs and one special person are included.
Raja Imran Hussain is the only special person in Pakistan who is currently a candidate for national and provincial seats. Imran Hussain has entered the election field from National Assembly Constituency NA 55 Rawalpindi and Provincial Constituency PP 15.
He says that no political party has included special persons in its manifesto or allotted quota. He said that he contacted all the political parties but no one gave the ticket.
“There are 3.5 crore special people in the country, but not a single one is given an election ticket.”
Raja Imran Hussain says that 15% of the total population in Pakistan consists of special people, so this number is 3.5 million. If we are not even accepted by the society, how can they give us tickets?
