Regrettably, Pakistan is facing the toughest time in the country’s history that common masses have never been through. Interestingly, despite the contemporary adversities the leaders, political elite, army and administrative establishments seem to enjoying the best of their privileges being the actual reasons of the recent social, political, moral and economic decline. In Pakistan, democracy is the name of the evil hegemonic practices of privileged elite stratums, judicial and military establishments to execute state’s business. The recent circumstances revealed that common Pakistanis have zero participation in the state affairs.  In Pakistan, the democracy is the system to exploit the ‘Demos’ to achieve the objectives of personal or privileged state institutions.  The non-serious behaviour of the state organs reflect that they have no solutions for the recent dismaying situations of Pakistan. The public affairs have never been the priority of governments at any level resulting in the failure of the democracy and its norms.  Corrupt political elite is challenging the whole system and the hierarchy of the state of Pakistan. State has failed to provide a determent leadership   to represent Pakistan subjecting to the will and the desires of common Pakistanis.  Unfortunately, Bandial’s Supreme Court has solely failed in the interpretation and implementation of the Constitution as Supreme Court is the custodian of the Law.  The PDM regime with the back of a certain institution trashed the worth and the decisions of the SC. Consequently, justice entirely failed to practise its supremacy. In fact, the administrative elite made their point that they are above the law, and democracy will be as they define, leaving the only option to either accept it or obey it anyway.  In civilized, organized and modern democratic societies state organs are also responsible for the political training of the citizens. Politicians safeguard rights of the common masses and stand for the dignity of the citizens.  But in Pakistan the system is different as democracy and the state organs are found weakening the nationalism, solidarity and unity in the nation. The nation is divided on the basis of religion, sects, provincial politics, rich and poor stratums.   There aren’t equal opportunities for common classes. Wealth and opportunities are in few hands, which is enough to augment the hatred in the society. Now it is up to the people of Pakistan to decide whether to save the country by getting rid of this exploitative, abusive and manipulative system or to surrender as a victim. The contemporary deprivations of Pakistanis put a big question mark on the current system of the Country. People need to mind the fact that the rights are not given, but they are rather taken.
