Following purported elections in February 2024, Pakistan registered a fascist dummy government that supports the status quo. By enacting an illegitimate government against the will of Pakistanis, the vanquished political factions are basking in their success.

In actuality, the 1973 Pakistani Constitution, which is supposed to safeguard citizens’ rights, completely fails, especially when it comes to their sociopolitical rights. Regretfully, international forces and the establishment are defining the rights of the oppressed Pakistani population in order to further exploit them for certain goals, while the State is only concentrating on its obligations and ignoring their rights.

Recent coalition governments lack public support and a simple majority in parliament, making them unable to enact popular decisions in the absence of key democratic standards.

However, the establishment’s anti-PTI campaign appears to be failing in the present. Public anti-establishment views are gradually growing, and this is also raising the level of political consciousness across the country. Asim Munir’s recent remarks about social media have drawn a lot of criticism. These kinds of remarks actually reveal the goals of the Pakistani elite.

This is also necessary to clarify who benefits from this terrible situation in reality. The guilty are the criminal elements who seek to seize control of Pakistan’s financial and military assets.

Essentially, the PDM’s PML-N and PPP are merely establishment-backed puppets that serve as tools against Pakistan’s anti-democratic ideology. The political parties, especially JUI-F and ANP, etc., are in extreme desperation because the system has not allowed them to participate in the parliament in a normal manner.

In the end, their anti-establishment remarks and positions serve simply to put pressure on the establishment to allow for an acceptable level of participation—not to advance Pakistanis’ political rights or to fortify democracy.

Albeit its policies are inciting public emotion, the despised collusion regime is not a true reflection of the people.  The nation’s unity is being threatened by political hatred, regionalism, and provincialism. Poverty and inflation have reached their height.

The rate of crime is rising. These circumstances are upsetting unity, patience, and insecurity. The sources state that the government is considering its future political course and is aware of these circumstances.

The responsible should be aware of the circumstances and, by endorsing genuine democracy, transfer authority to the qualified. Since Pakistan can no longer afford to conduct experiments, the nation and its citizens should act in their best interests.
